Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submit your papers at JELL

There are two ways you can make submission

  • Method 1 (Recommended Method)

    Register at JELL by clicking here -> Register. Then you can make submission by clicking New Submission link in your User Home

  • Method 2 (Alternate Method)

    You can directly mail your paper with all your details ( Name, Address, Contact No., EmailId, Qualification etc.) at jell@techmindresearch.com.

Guidelines

  • The manuscript must be your original work, and does not duplicate any other previously published work, including your own.

  • The manuscript should not be under consideration or accepted for publication elsewhere.

  • Follow the rules of British English, preferably.

  • Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order:

    • Title page

    • Abstract

    • Keywords

    • Main text (literature review, methodology, body)

    • References

    • Appendices (as appropriate)

  • It is mandatory (except in book reviews) to include an abstract (not more than 500 words) and keywords.

  • Title, headings and sub-headings should be concise and apt.

  • Authors should include their full names, affiliations, postal addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses on the title page of the manuscript. One author should be identified as the corresponding author. Others would be named in the manuscript as co-authors; the corresponding author must be authorized by all co-authors to act as an agent on their behalf in all matters pertaining to publication of the manuscript, and the order of names should be agreed by all authors.

  • Please supply a short biographical note for each author.

  • Supply all details if research is supported by any funding and grant-awarding bodies in the footnotes.

  • Refrain from using sexist or racist terms

  • Figures and tables should be numbered and given headings. Mention their source (if taken from elsewhere) in the footnote.

  • Manuscripts should be submitted as a single MS-Word file including all materials.

  • References should be cited in the text as name and year and listed at the end of the paper alphabetically. All references must be complete and correct and adhere to specific formats.

Supplementary Files

Authors are encouraged to submit animations and video files or any additional information for online publication.

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee.

Copyright

Authors are asked to submit a copyright form to protect against any infringements. If you wish to include any material in your manuscript in which you do not hold copyright, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner, prior to submission.

Paper Template

Publication of any articles/ manuscript in Journal of English Language and Literature requires strict conformance to the paper template. However, initial submission of an article or manuscript for review need not be compliant with the template.

Once the paper is selected, the authors will be asked to submit the camera-ready paper. The camera-ready paper is the final version of the article/ manuscript that will be published in the Journal of English Language and Literature Digital Library. While submitting the camera-ready, the authors must take extreme care so that the paper strictly conform with the prescribed template of Journal of English Language and Literature. Open access

Authors will be given free access to their published work once they fulfil all the formalities. Authors and readers can easily view, read, and download the published articles online form anywhere, anytime. In addition, if someone has cited your article, you will be able to see this information. We are committed to promoting and increasing the visibility of your article by immediately making it available on Google Scholar.

Status of submitted paper

Authors can follow and track the status of their paper online by log in on the website using user name and password.

Proofreading

Authors will be sent an editing copy in the form of a PDF file for proof reading before publication. Accurate proofreading and clear marking of corrections are essential for the production of a quality article. Mark the necessary corrections and changes.

Journal Copies

The journal issues are published online. Authors will receive intimation when the issue is published and also provided with the e-offprints.

Certificate of Publication

After the publication, authors can request for the certificate of publication.

Author fee for publication

The journal charges the following journal fees.

  • Fast Track Review (Voluntarily) - 30.00 (USD)

    With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 1 weeks.

  • Article Publication - 180 USD/ 150 USD/ 90 USD

    If this paper is accepted for publication, author(s) will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs as under.
    Low Income Economy - 90 USD
    Middle Income Economy - 150 USD
    High Income Economy - 180 USD

Fee Waivers

JELL charges publication fee to bear the maintenance cost. This should not come in the way of good research work. Keeping this in mind JELL offers concession to students and other needy authors. JELL offers fee waivers in several conditions to allow promotion of good research.

  • Student

    Students are given a concession of 25%.

  • Others

    In other cases fee waiver is granted depending on the quality of paper and after reviewing the resumes. Fee waiver can be granted after author writes an application stating a genuine reason why waiver is needed. Then council will review the request and take decisions of how much waiver to be granted accordingly.

Methods of payment

You can pay publication fee by using following methods.

  • Paypal

    To pay through PayPal, login in your personal account which is provided by JELL. If any problem is faced please write to JELL team at email jell@techmindresearch.com

    After login you will see user home page. It will display all the information regarding your paper. Click on 'active' corresponding to author. Under the status column, click on pay to publish …to pay the publication fee or fast track review fee (check Discount- if you have been offered any discount, click at check discount button and fill the code provided by JELL Team )

  • Bank Transfer

    The other method is to pay through bank. You will be provided account number in acceptance mail. You can transfer payment to these accounts.
